To register and use services provided by Reef Technologies, clients must agree to our standard policies, hosting rules, and service terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Protecting client security, system stability, and operational integrity remains our highest priority.

Changes in Packages & Pricing

Reef Technologies reserves the right to modify service pricing, features, or packages at any time without prior notice.

  • Updated pricing applies only to new orders or agreements
  • Existing confirmed projects continue under previously agreed pricing
  • Pricing decisions remain solely under the authority of Reef Technologies

Ownership Policy

Web Hosting & Servers

If specified in the official proposal or agreement, clients may receive hosting services as part of the package.

However, all hosting infrastructure, server systems, and hosting environments remain the property of Reef Technologies and are used strictly for website operation and maintenance.

Content Management System (CMS)

The CMS, admin panel, and backend management systems developed by Reef Technologies are proprietary systems owned by the company.

Clients receive only limited usage rights while the website remains hosted and managed by Reef Technologies.

Database Software

Database structures, configurations, and software maintained by Reef Technologies are not owned or directly accessible by clients.

However, clients retain ownership of:

  • Website content
  • Business data
  • Images and media uploaded by them

Source Code (Custom Programming)

Custom backend programming, server-side logic, APIs, integrations, and platform functionality developed by Reef Technologies remain proprietary company assets.

These systems may interact with external APIs, third-party services, or server software and are not transferred to clients.

Visual Design

Clients own the final visual design of the website upon project completion and full payment.

This includes:

  • Layout design
  • Color schemes
  • Typography
  • Images and visual elements
  • User interface styling

Text Content

All text content provided or approved by the client remains the property of the client.

This includes:

  • Website text
  • Service descriptions
  • Business information
  • SEO content supplied by the client

Photography & Media

Clients retain ownership of all photographs, videos, and media assets supplied by them for project use.

Reef Technologies does not claim ownership over client-provided media content.

Domain Name Policy

Domain registration provides usage rights only and does not constitute permanent legal ownership of the domain itself.

For operational, security, and maintenance purposes, Reef Technologies may continue managing domain settings while services remain active.

Domain access or transfer assistance may be provided upon:

  • Official request
  • Completion of all pending dues
  • Compliance with registrar policies

Legal Reality of Website Ownership

Clients do not own:

  • Hosting infrastructure
  • Backend systems
  • CMS software
  • Database systems
  • Proprietary frameworks or server technology

Clients only own:

  • Final HTML/CSS/JavaScript files
  • Website visual design
  • Client-provided content and media

Backend Access & Credentials

Reef Technologies does not provide:

  • Backend source code
  • CMS core files
  • Database backups
  • Hosting root credentials
  • Proprietary server configurations

Web Hosting Details

To maintain system performance and security:

  • Hosting credentials may remain private
  • Third-party software installations may be restricted
  • Security monitoring and usage limitations may apply
  • Hosting may be offered as a complimentary service in selected packages

Working on Client Servers

Websites, web applications, portals, and systems developed by Reef Technologies are generally not deployed on client-owned servers unless specifically agreed in writing.

Account Setup & Verification

Client accounts are activated only after:

  • Successful payment verification
  • Completion of screening procedures
  • Submission of valid and accurate information

Incorrect or incomplete details may delay service activation.

Definitions

Under these Terms & Conditions:

  • Affiliate means any entity controlling or controlled by Reef Technologies
  • Country refers to India
  • Company / We / Us / Our refers to Reef Technologies
  • Device means any internet-enabled device including computers, tablets, or smartphones
  • Service refers to all services provided through our website and company operations
  • Third-Party Service refers to external platforms, software, or services integrated with our systems
  • You / Client / User refers to any individual or business using our services

Third-Party Websites & Services

Our website may contain links to external websites or third-party services.

Reef Technologies is not responsible for:

  • External content
  • Privacy practices
  • Third-party software
  • Damages caused by external services

Users should review third-party terms and privacy policies independently.

Termination of Services

Upon termination, service access will immediately end.

Limitation of Liability

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services or USD 100 where applicable.

  • Continuous service availability
  • Error-free functionality
  • Compatibility with all software or systems
  • Specific business outcomes or rankings
  • Complete protection from malware or cyber threats

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from the use of services provided by Reef Technologies shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully effective.

Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of rights.

Changes to Terms

Reef Technologies reserves the right to modify, replace, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time at its sole discretion.

Continued use of services after updates indicates acceptance of revised Terms.
